Dark as Night
Dark as Night
We did Winter White, now we'll feature some of those deep flavors that remind us of those dark, cozy nights in front of a fire. This is a lovely menu for nearly any occasion but just perfect after a day on the slopes. Comfort food, to be sure----hearty but not heavy.
Black Pepper Beef Stew - deep, dark, and flavorful -- slowly simmered to develop layers of rich flavor.
Potato Stacks- thinly sliced potatoes, layered and seasoned in individual stBacks and baked until the edges are delightfully crisp and brown. A beautifully composed side dish that adds some fun texture and a gourmet flair to an otherwise rustic meal.
Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Onions - When you have these in your oven, your whole neighborhood will be at your front door wondering what smells so good.
Warm Mushroom Salad - woodsy, earthy, yet bright. We loved this salad when it was served to us on a recent Thursday afternoon.
Dark Chocolate Tart - chocolate ganache in flaky pastry topped with caramel-glazed mixed nuts. Balanced, beautiful, and soon to be beloved.
