Expect an exquisite event, tailored to please even the most ardent francophile. Prepare to embark on an epicurean excursion through France with our special guest for the evening --- Chelsie Brymer, Co-Owner of Promenade Artisan Foods ---a european-style Bakery & Cafe in Detroit and Trenton that showcases fabulous French pastries. Half the group will start out with Chelsie, and the others with Chef Steven. Beret optional!

This extraordinary experience is inspired by two new introductions to Acorn Farm, both from France. The first is an incredible cookware line from deBuyer---carbon steel pans that allow you to cook like the chefs do. It's a supremely durable and versatile piece of high-performance cookware. The second is a new enamel-on-cast iron pan from Le Creuset---the Cassadou. It performs like their signature oven but has an extended handle. The new color we've brought in is Rhone, a beautiful, deep burgundy named for the French wine region, Cotes du Rhone.

Chef Steven Grostick will be preparing Beef Bourguignon for you as you sip on one of two wines we'll be tasting from the Rhone wine region. He'll introduce our newest piece of Le Creuset in its gorgeous new color from their autumn palette. Perfect for anything you'd create in your kitchen---from roasts to stews and breads! While he finishes the bourguignon you'll enjoy a simple French salad. He'll provide you with these classic recipes as well.

Chelsie will show you the intricacies of crepe-making, as you dine on a delicious savory crepe accompanied by a taste of another French wine selection. She'll teach you the basics and give you a crepe recipe as well as answer any questions that will help you recreate crepes in your own home. Chelsie and Jono have perfected the art of the hand-held crepe, one of the signature items on their menu.

We'll gather together at the end of the evening for a dessert crepe and a peek at Chelsie's pop-up shop of sorts, stocked with some of her wonderful French pastries for purchase that evening!
