This will be an extraordinarily fun event, tailored to those of us who love the joy and excitement that come along with the holidays. You don’t always get the time you need to bake or decorate so we thought we’d help with both!  

You’ll spend some time with our special guest that evening—Milford’s own Claudia Frush from Sugar Happy Cookies. She’s a delightful person as well as the most accomplished cookie designer and decorator that we’ve ever seen. She’s honed her craft to perfection and she’ll share with you some simple techniques for decorating cookies while you sip a cocktail and enjoy an appetizer.  She’ll also bring along some of her incredible cookies for purchase—they make wonderful stocking stuffers!

You’ll spend the rest of the evening with Kathy and Marty as they guide you through decorating a fresh evergreen swag for your home.  It would look great on a front door or window sash or even a favorite cupboard door!! We’ll provide all the goodies necessary for the project and you’ll enjoy a tasty dessert when you’re through!

While part of this event is a bit of a cookie exchange, you won’t need to bake a thing---but you'll leave with a box containing a dozen different delicious cookies that we’ve baked for you, along with a booklet containing all twelve recipes. These will be prepared by the Acorn Farm staff and most are long-standing family recipes or special ones that have significance to us. What’s your part of the “exchange”? We’re asking you to send us a copy of your favorite cookie recipe----we’ll display it that evening and feature it on our social media sites.

Besides the fun you’ll have, you’ll go home with the pretty swag that you’ve created, a box of cookies, a booklet of recipes, a bright red spatula, a Christmas cookie tea towel----and loads of holiday spirit!
