If there’s one kitchen item everybody needs, foodie or not, it’s a knife. On the 3rd we’ll be talking knives all day long!
We’ll be introducing a great line of knives from Cangshan. Ed Bartush will be here to give us all sorts of knife do’s & don’ts and answer your knife questions. He’s a wealth of knowledge on the subject and we’ll hope you’ll take advantage and come down to see us. Cangshan is a wonderful line of knives — something a little different from your traditional black-handled knives. A nice way to update your cutlery!
You’ll be able to get your knives sharpened that day for free! Bring up to three knives, (no serrated, please) and drop them off to be sharpened. Please bring them wrapped in a towel, boxed, or otherwise safely secured with your name attached. Knife sharpening is free, but for those who so desire, we will have a donation jar for Community Sharing. Everything that goes in the jar goes directly to them and helps local people. It’s a great group!
We’ll also be introducing all our new knife specials. It’s a great time to get some knives for wedding or Father’s Day gifts.
We haven’t had a knife day for almost 4 years—now’s the time.
