We’re so glad to have Tanya Fallon back in Acorn Farm again. She’s a skilled baker with an impressive career, who is so local that she cooks for the Milford Maverick Freshman football team dinner every week. After graduating from Kendall Culinary School she worked at the famed Ambria in Chicago, as well as The Ritz Carlton. Since she moved to Michigan, she was part of the team that opened Tribute and has since done her incredible baking at some Michigan favorites like Clarkston Union (and several other of the Union Joints!), both the Orchard Lake and Oakland Hills Country Clubs, as well as Tallulah and Bella Piatti in Birmingham, Michigan.
With a resume like that, we feel very honored to have her in the store! She’ll be bringing in some of her favorites for this pop-up. They all look SO incredible that we’re offering them on pre-sale so you can be sure to bring home exactly what you’re looking for. One of her specialties is the Cannele, a divine treat with a long, storied history, a dark, thick caramelized crust, a tender custardy middle, and flavored with rum and vanilla. She’s an exceptionally talented lady. Please don’t miss this one. Treat yourself!
