This will be part of our Hobnobbing through History week and our dessert will be served with a side of history! We'll have a delightful guest from the Milford Historical society to share a little 15-minute talk with us at the end of the evening. These talks have been popular when we've done them in the past so we feel we're pretty lucky that they want to help us out again. A portion of the evening's proceeds will go to the Milford Historical Society. For our high society menu (pun intended, of course) we'll have:a focus on the souffle, a dish quite popular in the past that, much to our dismay, you don't see so much anymore.
Rolled Skirt Steak Lollipops - Mini bites served with a spring chimichurri sauce.
Parmesan Asparagus Souffle - Rich in flavor, fluffy as a cloud. A lightly crisped outside with a tender middle. This will become a go-to side for your favorite meat dishes. A lost art!
Shimmering Salad - As beautiful as shiny gems, but loaded with little treasures like diced roasted beets, pistachios, red onion, and goat cheese, and dressed with a tangy-sweet citrus-tinged dressing, presented on belgian endive. Topped with crispy shallots.
Souffle Duo - a pair of dessert souffles, so well-paired that you'll never want to make them alone. One of rich chocolate and the other Grand Marnier. Served together with a lovely creme anglais. Reminiscint of times past in Milford.
