Acorn Farm opened its doors in downtown Millford in 2008. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the most kind, interesting, generous, and downright fun people in the store every single day. Our staff is made up of former customers who became a part of our family so much that we just had to hire them! Kentucky is famous for it’s barrel-aged specialty—bourbon, and tasting fine bourbons has become a rather popular hobby. We’re going to highlight that incredible flavor with some delicious recipes from Chef Steven using bourbon-barrel-aged balsamic, bourbon maple syrup, and all other manner of bourbon tinged treats (ever tried Kentuckyaki? We would highly recommend it!) We’ll be having a few members of the Bourbon Women Association come and talk to us about the Michigan Chapter! If you’re a woman that loves bourbon and you’re looking for a great group of women to meet with—come on down—-you’ve found your people!
